1. Expression：go to the dogs
Explanation：To become less successful and of worse quality than it was in the past. （衰敗，破落，每況愈下，墮落）
Example：He seems to have gone completely to the dogs and spends all his time in the pub.
他好像已經完全墮落了，整天泡在酒吧裏。
If you read the English media or watch the cretinosity of television, you would think that the country is going to the dogs.
