work的各種搭配用法
“work.rdquo;一詞，想必大家都很熟悉啦，但是對於“work”的用法和詞組搭配，你又知道多少呢？今天我們就來學習一些含有“work”的英文表達。
① dirty work 必須要做的但很無聊或很難的工作；吃力不討好的工作，比如：
He did the dirty work on that project.
他在那個項目中做的是吃力不討好的活兒。
② get down to work 開始做重要的事情；完成重要的任務。比如：
Sorry, I've got to get off the phone and get down to work.
對不起，我必須放下電話開始工作了。
③ make short work of something 很快完成。比如：
I made short work of the assignment and moved on to the next job.
我很快地就完成了任務開始下一項工作了。
⑤ work like a horse 辛勤工作，非常努力的工作。比如：
He works like a horse!
他工作非常努力！
⑥ work out for the best 最後完成得很好。比如：
Don't worry about your problems. Everything will work out for the best.
別擔心你的問題，所有的事情最後都會好的。
⑦ throw a monkey wrench in the works 把看上去很清楚明白的事情攪亂。比如：
I hate to throw a monkey wrench in the works, but don't you think we should ask Andy to help?
