She's been cutting a slimmer figure since losing weight after recovering from throat surgery last year. And as she ran errands in West London, the singer was showing off the effects of her weight loss in pair of leggings and jumper. Accompanied by boyfriend Simon Konecki, a male friend and her beloved dachshund dog Louie, the 23-year-old was spotted about and about in Notting Hill. The trio started off lunching in a cafe, before checking out some vintage shops and getting a caffeine fix in a Pret A Manger. After picking up a few vintage items from the Rellik boutique on Golborne Road, they headed off to Clutter Prop Hire in Park Royal, North West London.

Although Adele owns a £380,000 flat in Notting Hill, which she bought several years ago, she is currently living in a rented £7million, 10-bedroom Sussex mansion, more befitting to her superstar status. However, she and boyfriend Konecki — who is 13 years older than the singer — are said to have bought a new £2.5million property together in Hove, East Sussex.

She was forced to cancel a string of gigs after a benign polyp was found on her vocal chords. Last month, Adele defended her curvier figure after being criticised by fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. The German fashionista courted controversy when he said: "The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice." She said in defence: "I've never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women and I'm very proud of that." "I don't want to be some skinny mini. I really don't want to do it and I don't want people confusing what it is that I'm about."
儘管因爲去年年末的聲帶問題讓她不得不取消自己的巡演，但是手術後的Adele依然拿獎拿到手軟。不過上個月，時裝大師老佛爺Karl Lagerfeld評價她“Adele擁有漂亮的臉蛋和美好的聲音，但是她還是有點胖”。對此，她迴應：“我從來也不希望自己變成雜誌上模特兒那樣的身材，我代表了絕大多數女性的身材，我爲此感到驕傲。”
