網上交友 Is It Wise To Make Friends Online?

With the fast development of online communication tools and online chatting tools, an increasing number of people are inclined to make friends online. However, is it wise to make friends online? People from different backgrounds and cultures have divergent views concerning this issue.

隨着網絡通信工具和在線聊天工具的快速發展，越來越多的人傾向於在網上交友。然而，在網上交朋友是明智的嗎?來自不同背景和文化的人們對這一問題有不同的看法。

For one thing, those who have already benefited from practicing it sing high praise of it. They claim that making friends online has many advantages compared to communicate with each other in face to face. For instance, making friends online can communicate with our friends at any time to strengthen our relationship and save a lot social resources. And we can keep in touch with our friends when we have no time to visit them in person. They also point out that making friends online provides a good chance for us to communicate with people from different social backgrounds and cultures. In other words, making friends online can broaden our horizon and widen our personal relationships. In addition, it also makes contribution to narrow our gap in area and culture.

一方面，那些已經受益於網上交友的人是贊成的。他們說網上交友有比彼此面對面交流更有優勢。例如，網上交友可以隨時與我們的朋友交流來加強我們的關係，節約社會資源。在我們沒有時間見面時，我們可以與我們的朋友保持聯繫。他們還指出，網上交朋友爲我們提供了一個與不同的社會背景和文化的人交流的好機會。換句話說，網上交友可以拓寬我們的視野，拓寬我們的個人關係網。而且，這也爲縮小我們在地域、文化方面的差距作貢獻。

However, for another, other people hold opposite views towards this issue. They argue that it is dangerous to make friends online. They cite many examples that people cheated by online friends. And they figure out that sometimes it will cause some misunderstanding in culture because some online friends tell lies and provide wrong information.

In the world today, computer is more and more popular, A lot of students are addicted to the Internet. They like making on-line friends. They also think it a freedom way to express themselves. For some students , Internet can help them improve their English level.

Some students don’t agree with making on-line friends. They think it is a waste of time. A lot of students are addicted to it and it has influenced their study a lot. Some people think they will be cheated by going to the Internet.

I think everything has two sides. We should take the advantage and be away from the disadvantage. We should use the Internet reasonable. If we use it reasonable, we can get a lot of knowledge from it. But on the contrary ,if we are addicted to making on-line friends and playing on-line game, we will get nothing. We should pay attention to the Internet.

Should students make friends on line ?

Some people say internet helps make many ting on line，students can more freely express their feelings and opinions，and even get help with their foreign language studies .

Others，however，think students should say making friends on line is a waste of time，which should be spent more meaningfully on des，some students get cheated on line .

It is my opinion that students should place their study，health and safety before other for friendship，we can readily find it in our classmates and other people around us making friends face to fcce is a good choice,which is much better than making friends with the unkown.

Nowadays, with the development of science and technology, people are not only making friends in their reality life. They like knowing new friends on the internet. Some people are happy about that way of making friends, while some criticize it. Both of them have their own reasons.

On the one hand, the supporter stands on the side that it is a better way to make various friends. As the friends online are from all over the world, people can have a chance to make friends with people in different places, instead of the people around themselves. Making friends in this way, they can broaden their vision, learning many new things and knowledge in an easy way. In other words, they can get self-improvement in their daily life. Why not go ahead with it?

一方面，支持者的一方認爲這是交到各種各樣朋友的一個較好的方式。因爲網上的朋友都是來自世界各地的，人們可以有機會與不同地方的人交朋友，而不是自己周圍的人。以這種方式交朋友，他們可以輕易地拓寬視野，學到很多新知識。換句話說，他們可以在日常生活中得到自我提高。爲什麼不去做呢?

On the other hand, the protesters think it is unsafe to make friends online. As the network life is fictitious, people have no idea about what kind of the person they are talking to. It is very dangerous. If somebody want to cheat another person, it is easy to make it. The newspaper also reports that there are some people died or get hurt while they are going to see their net friend. The latent danger of making friends online always exists.

另一方面，反對的一方認爲在網上交朋友不安全。因爲網絡生活是虛擬的，人們不知道什麼和他們聊天的人是什麼樣的。這是很危險的。如果有人想要欺騙另一個人是很容易的。報紙也說了總是有人因爲見網友而死亡或者受傷。網上交友的潛在危機總是存在的。

To sum up, as far as I am concerned, making friends online has advantages and disadvantages. People should not afraid of the bad side and then give up a good chance. So I think I agree with making friends on the internet, but they still need to be careful, in case of being cheated.

綜上所述，我覺得網上交友有優點也有缺點。人們不應該因爲擔心不好的一面而放棄一個好機會。所以我贊成網上交友，不過他們還是需要小心，以防被騙。
