湖面上大片的荷花開放了，有粉紅的、有淡黃的、還有雪白的，朵朵嬌豔欲滴、美不勝收。一隻只蜻蜓輕輕地落在花瓣上，我不禁想起了楊萬里的詩句：“小荷才露尖尖角，早有蜻蜓立上頭”。湖水裏鳶飛魚躍，幾隻大白鵝歡快地遊着，“呱呱”地叫着。這些美景彷彿像一幅五顏六色的巨大畫卷，真叫人流連往返。
大明湖的擴建新區裏共有八大景觀，包括：超然致遠、鳥啼綠蔭、七橋風月、秋柳含煙等，處處有亭臺樓閣、水榭長廊，真是引人入勝。另外還有28座造型獨特、各有不同的橋，更讓人讚不絕口。
沿着湖岸，我們不知疲倦地走着，彷彿自己也融進了這如詩如畫的美景之中，如荷花、如蜻蜓、如這清澈的湖水。
