People make fun of these pictures and they actually laugh at themselves, living with these poison air. Even in the daytime, people can’t see their faces beyond 10 meters. Many schools choose to stop the class and let the students stay at home. It is obvious that haze is a great threat to people’s health. This new type of destruction is the result of polluted environment. Businessmen chase for the profit and take the cost of polluting the environment. Now their offspring have to suffer from it. 世界環境日 World Environment DayWorld Environment Day is commemorated each year on June 5th, and started from 1972, which is established by the United Nations General Assembly for raising global awareness to take actions to protect the Nature. The establishment of World Environment Day shows people’s the cognition and the attitude to the environmental problem, and expresses our human beings’ desire of pursuing the better environment. Every year the United Nations Environment Program proposes a theme, and the 2014 theme of this day will focus on ‘Small Island and Climate change’ and the slogan is “Raise Your Voice Not the Sea Level”.
World Environment Day can be celebrated in lots of ways, for instances, planting trees, doing some recycling, participating the clean-up campaigns and so on. Certainly people can also do something simple, like going to work by bus instead of private cars. I believe if everyone takes environmental actions as a habit, we are doing a big difference for the better environment.

People call them the most lovely diplomatist, because the government gives pandas to other countries to show friendliness. It is known to all that pandas are dying out, though some measures have been taken to protect them. On the one hand, the newborn rate of panda is very low, and the mother panda only can raise one baby, so they have to make choice to raise the strong one, then the rest babies will be dead. In order to improve the newborn rate, scientists have helped to raise more baby pandas. When they grow up, they will go back to the nature. But as the environment is damaged by human being, some pandas can’t get used to it and die soon. The best way to protect panda is to protect the environment.

低碳生活 Low-carbon LifestyleNow we are facing two problems of global warming and a shortage of natural resources, both of which are getting more and more serious day by day. Thus, it is important for us to promote a low-carbon lifestyle.
Low-carbon lifestyle covers many aspect of our life like transportation, traveling, home-heating, and so on. In order to promote a low-carbon life, some plans must be carried out as follows. Firstly, don’t waste any electricity and water. Remember to turn off the lights and water taps unless we use them. Secondly, we had better take the subways or bus to work, so as to reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide. Thirdly, we should use cloth bags for shopping instead of plastic bags, and use recyclable bowls and chopsticks instead of disposable ones, for it can not only save resources, but also reduce pollution. What’s more, it is of great significance to plant more trees, since trees can balance the carbon dioxide emissions.
In a word, if we live a low-carbon life from now on, we will have a better environment and more resources left for our descendants.

低碳生活方式包括了我們生活的很多方面，比如交通、旅行、室內取暖等。爲了促進低碳生活，我們應該採取以下的行動。首先，不要浪費水電。要記得隨手關燈，用水完後隨手關閉水龍頭。其次，我們最好坐地鐵或是公交車上班，這樣可以減少碳排放。第三，我們購物時應該用布袋替換塑料袋;使用可循環利用的碗筷，不使用一次性用品。因爲這樣不僅節約資源，也減少污染。此外，大量植樹也很重要，因爲樹木可以平衡二氧化碳排放量。
