在開始你的雅思寫作之前，一定抑制住自己迫切動筆着急忙着寫完作文的心。我知道時間寶貴，所以你打算邊寫邊構思，可是這真的是一條雅思寫作的不歸路，因爲匆忙之中的動筆，往往造成無可挽回的錯誤，這錯誤可能是審題，可能是觀點，可能是論證方法。所以，請停下腳步，用寶貴的5分鐘想一想想一想。

你寫的和你想的必須是一樣的，而不是寫前想一想，提筆又是另一篇——只是簡單的規劃思路是不夠的 最好是寫之前想好，而不是寫完了再來想——雅思考試真的沒時間打幾遍草稿 什麼時候想?每段開頭和每句開頭——句子是你作文的關鍵組成部分 怎麼想?定向思維——最好列個清單，這樣會很有幫助的。
解釋一下爲什麼要在”Thinking”上花時間(而不是草草動筆)—–表面上看起來這樣做會“浪費”一些時間，因爲大多數人的想法是：快些寫啊寫啊!想啥啊! 但是當你想完了以後，你會發現你寫的更有效(more efficiently)–也就是說，廢話少了，不僅寫完了，而且還寫好了(這就不僅僅是寫完一篇作文，而是寫好一篇作文) 來看看具體怎麼做吧!
清晰的思維使你更好的寫作
其實道理很簡單，你雅思作文一半的得分都來自 Task Response (是否切題，還是寫跑題了)與Coherence and Cohesion(文章連貫性，是不是上句不接下句，還是很有層次，有順序)。這兩個評分標準跟你使用的語言(單詞，詞組，語法)都沒什麼關係，但是跟你的行文思路(thought)和文章結構(organisation)直接相關。換句話說，你全文語法(grammar)全對，詞彙(vocab)用的都非常漂亮，你也就能得5分。要拿那另外的分，就得有思考的技能。
腦子裏的規劃是不夠的
在考場上再去想你要寫什麼基本是沒什麼卵用的。就算你現想出文章的結構，所使用的詞彙還有思路，你還是不知道怎麼把它們拼湊到一起去。並且幾乎就沒什麼學生可以在考場上的那一點點時間就可以規劃出以上所提的這些。原因是什麼?因爲你覺得想這些東西是在浪費時間。 大錯特錯。你的寫作規劃不是完整的答案，你可以邊寫邊完善。 你的結構/思路/詞彙全都需要你的規劃(Plan)來組織。
別老是打草稿，想好了再寫 如果你沒辦法在40分鐘內寫完雅思作文那大部分都是因爲你老是寫錯，各種錯(語法錯了啊，單詞不會拼啦，反覆表達一個意思又重寫句子啦等等)耽誤了你的時間。要避免這個問題就一定要想好了再寫。想想應該怎麼說最好。如果你以前寫作一些學術類的文章，你就應該知道，最好是把你一遍遍打草稿的時間拿來想想到底該怎麼寫。
寫每一段之前，想一想
學生寫作文的時候，寫着寫着就停筆了，他不知道怎麼寫下去了!別笑，我們大家都經常犯這樣的錯誤。爲什麼?因爲句子與句子之間都沒什麼聯繫。(沒有連貫性)。 你得有一個完整的思路。必須把整個思路想清楚了再動筆，別小看這個小技巧，你試試，寫作立馬不一樣了!(而不是邊寫邊想)
想你所想
OK，我們知道動筆前要想了，那“想”些什麼呢?這取決於你的經驗，你的學歷等等。不要怕觀點不對，說你自己心裏想的，說實話就行了。

文章結構
在我的文章裏有中心思想嗎? 這一段跟其他段有什麼聯繫?

這段話在整個文章結構裏是什麼? 對於這個意思的表達，我需要解釋原因或舉例嗎? 這段話要寫幾句?
句子連貫性
我打算用這幾個句子說明個什麼問題?在腦子裏能把它說出來嗎? 這個句子是主要想法嗎?還是一個例子?一個解釋?或者別的? 這個句子跟上個句子有聯繫嗎?需要用連接詞嗎?可以用別的方式去連接嗎?
語法
你確定語法都正確嗎?如果不確定的話，能不能換個說法(不至可能出現語法錯誤?) 語法是不是太簡單了?(只有陳述句)還是太重複了?(老是定語從句)
詞彙
準確使用詞彙了嗎? 我需要使用上面句子的詞彙嗎(還是要換一個)?我使用了同義詞嗎? 這段話是書面體嗎(而不是口頭語)?
方法總結：或許，擺了這麼思考項，有人已經看不下去了：你倒是讓我60分鐘寫一篇文章，還是讓我想一篇文章啊。講了這麼多，其實是想告訴大家，做任何事情，都是講方法論的，雅思寫作自然如此。誠然你可以激情靈感迸發地邊寫邊思考，讓靈動的思緒帶領你的文章的肆意前行。可是，這種方式是很危險的，是難以複製的，你狀態好時，可能發飆寫出高分作文，可你狀態不好時，有可能讓你寫出一篇偏題的，觀點孱弱的，結構混亂的垃圾文章。上面講的這個5分鐘審題，其實就是爲了一步步告訴你一個安全保險的捷徑寫作方法，前期的麻煩是會了給你以後減少麻煩。在剛開始操練時，很耗時，可只要熟練之後，它就會帶來你整個寫作過程的高效。你的框架，你的觀點，你的主要論據已經提前構思好。那麼無論如何，你不會偏題，你的字數不會缺，你的觀點論證過程夠飽滿。這幾點加起來就是一個7分的作文了。
