Vesna: Tell me something about the cuisine you prefer?
威斯纳：和我说说你喜欢的美食吧？Karlo: My favorite kind is my mum's cooking. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm used to and prefer Mediterranean cuisine. I love food to be healthy cooked and try to hold onto my eating schedules.
卡罗：我最喜欢我妈妈做的饭。我开玩笑的，我只是开个玩笑。我喜欢地中海美食。我喜欢健康烹饪的食物，而且我尽量坚持我的饮食时间表。Vesna: We all live a fast and busy life. Do you always manage to eat your meals on a schedule?

Karlo: No. The problem is that I don't always have opportunity to eat at certain timing due to the fast and dynamic lifestyle. I prefer eating several times a day, at least three or four times in smaller portions.
卡罗：不能。问题是由于快速又不断变化的生活方式，我不是一直有机会定时吃饭。我喜欢一天多餐，我一天可能会吃三四餐，但是量很小。Vesna: And if you don't find the time, what is the alternative?
威斯纳：如果你没有时间吃饭，会吃什么代替?Karlo: Well certainly fast food is often an alternative or frozen vegetables, that can be a healthy substitute for other groceries.

卡罗：对。Vesna: When you eat at home, do you do your own cooking?
威斯纳：你会自己在家做饭吃吗？Karlo: Whenever I get the chance I cook for myself but if not I can always count on my mum or my girlfriend.

威斯纳：所以你也会自己做饭吃。Karlo: Yeah.
卡罗：对。Vesna: Are you a traditionalist or do you like experimenting with flavors?
威斯纳：就口味来说，你是传统主义者还是实验派？Karlo: I love traditional dishes, don't get me wrong, but with a little thinking outside the box, you can add new tastes to the known meals. You know how all of the famous chefs are men?
卡罗：我喜欢传统菜肴，不要误会我的意思，不过打破常规去思考的话，也可以在原有的菜肴中加入新口味。你知道著名的厨师都是男性吗？Vesna: Yeah, I've noticed. What is your theory about it?
威斯纳：知道，我也发现了。你怎么看这种情况？Karlo: My theory, somewhere I have heard that the reason for that is because men are more imaginative when it comes to cooking, maybe cause it lies is in the traditional use of our society.

威斯纳：你怎么想？Karlo: In the minds of a great deal of people, they just feel a deep tradition. But it's a woman's job to cook. And maybe women see this as an obligation instead of a way to express themselves.
卡罗：很多人认为这来源于传统。烹饪是女性的工作。可能女性认为烹饪是责任而不是表达自己的方式。Vesna: Okay, let me ask you something. You are a young rock musician.

卡罗：对。Vesna: I know it's necessary to maintain an image in these circles, so does anybody poke you for ... or because of your cooking habit?
