A bee sting is strictly a sting from a bee. In the vernacular it can mean a sting of a bee, wasp, hornet, or yellow jacket. The stings of most of these species can be quite painful, and are therefore keenly avoided by many people.
蜂蛰伤确切是指被蜜蜂的蛰刺蛰出的伤。通俗来说，它可能是一只蜜蜂、黄蜂、大黄蜂或者黄夹克。被大部分这几类品种的叮咬会非常疼，因此许多人会尽量避免。Bee stings differ from insect bites, and the venom or toxin of stinging insects is quite different. Therefore, the body’s reaction to a bee sting may differ significantly from one species to another.
蜂蛰伤不同于昆虫叮咬，带刺昆虫的毒液或毒素是完全不同的。因此，人被蜜蜂蛰伤的身体反应跟其它物种的叮咬是完全不同的。The most aggressive stinging insects are wasps but not hornets in general. All of these insects aggressively defend their nests. A bee sting may trigger a dangerous anaphylactic reaction that is potentially deadly.
最具伤害性的昆虫毒刺是黄蜂的，但不是一般的黄蜂。所有这些昆虫积极捍卫它们的巢穴。蜂蛰伤可能引发危险的过敏反应，这可能会致命的。
