Mr. Borton: Like, going left? You're doing fine.

Mr. Borton: Maybe they're not your friends. That was my whole point about team today. You gotta look out for each other. You're the leader. There's gonna be college scouts at our game next week. Know what a scholarship is worth these days?

【口语解说】bust one's chops
bust呢是“痛击”的意思；而chop去查的话则是“肋骨”，但是它还有另一个意思表示“下巴”。那么bust one's chops字面意思就是“揍人下巴”，引申义则是“give (someone) a hard time”（不给别人好日子过）或者“harass”（困扰某人）。想想很多电影电视里面的情节揍人下巴的话，多数就会容易挑起一场斗殴，很有点挑衅的意思哦，那不就是“没事找事儿”了？
