and all
意：此習語有以下四種意思：
①其他類似的人或物；諸如此類；等等
例： She had books and papers and all.
她有書、紙那類東西。
With her job and the children and all, Jane's kept pretty busy.
簡又要工作，又要照看孩子什麼的，可把她忙壞了。
②連同；包括；還有
例. What?! Children and all?
什麼？！還帶孩子？
’The dog ate the whole rabbit, head. bones and all.
狗把整隻兔子，連頭帶骨頭都吃掉了。
③（表示加強語氣，對他人所講的持一致意見）確實；的確(=certainly!)
例.I A: It's very cold!
很冷吧？
B：Itis．and all.
可不，冷得很！
④ 雖然；儘管
例pled and all, he's a Iot more active than you are.
他雖腿瘸，可比你活躍得多。
and all that
用：後面常接jazz，rubbish，nonsense，tripe．stuff, kind (sort) of thing，
等等，以避免重複前面已提到的東西、事情等。
意：什麼的；那些事；那些東西；諸如此類的東西、事情
例. My grandmother is very keen on good manners: brushing your teeth, keeping
your back straight and all that jazz.
我祖母可講究好習慣了，什麼要刷牙啦，背要挺直啦，那一套。
He knows a lot about politics and all that, but not too much about real life.
他對政治那類事懂得不少，可對實際生活卻懂得不多。
and eveWing
意：等等(=and S0 0n)；又是什麼的；還有別的等等
例：I've argued with him and everything, but he won't listen.
我跟他爭來爭去，可他就是不肯聽我的。
We bought a huge window-the frame, glass, and everything-for just afe"
dollars。
我們買了一大扇窗子：窗框、玻璃等一齊在內，才花了幾塊錢。
And．how
用：用做答語，加強語氣。這個習語有時也用做反語來諷刺別人，表示纔不是這麼回事。
意：是的！確確實實！當然哪！我非常贊同！
例.I A: He's the fastest of the three drivers and good-looking to0 1
三個賽車選手中，他開得最快，而且長得也帥。
B：And how!
誰說不是啊！
A: Your sister's just beautiful, isn't she?
你妹妹真漂亮！不是嗎？
B：And how!
那當然啦！
A: So you had a good time in London?
你在倫敦玩得不錯吧？
