【內容簡介】
本身生性開朗樂觀的中學教師帕特（布萊德利·庫珀 Bradley Cooper 飾）回家撞見老婆出軌後因精神創傷被父母送進醫院進行精神治療。出院後帕特回到父母家與父母同住，在父親（羅伯特·德尼羅 Robert De Niro 飾）與母親（傑基·韋佛 Jacki Weave r 飾）的過度關懷下不免覺得壓抑。選段中，Pat的爸爸用他的全部積蓄和別人打賭，Pat要在舞蹈比賽中達到5分同時老鷹隊要獲勝。而最後他們都做到了~同時，Pat已經知道以前的信都是Tiffany寫給他的，他們互相表白，最終幸福的在一起了。
