雙語美文：謝謝你，我們家的英雄司機
Today we had a hero join us for our son's 5th birthday.
今天是我兒子的五歲生日，有一個英雄來和我們一起爲他慶祝生日。
Our son Henry has neurological and speech disorders.
我的兒子Henry患有神經性障礙和言語障礙。
He hasn't had the chance to meet many friends yet
他一直沒機會去結交更多的朋友
because he's in intensive speech, OT, swim and riding lessons/therapy most of the week.
因爲一週中的大部分時間，他都在接受強化性語音訓練，作業治療、泳療、馬術治療等等各種治療課程。
He just started preschool this year and is making good progress.
今年他剛開始上幼兒園，取得了不小的進步
Anyway, we worried that today on his birthday very few people would show up and his heart would be broken.
可是，我們還是擔心，在他的生日這一天，來的客人會很少，他一定會心碎
By way of background, Henry's week and his greatest joy revolves around garbage truck day, which is Wednesday,
平日裏，亨利每個星期最期待，最快樂的事情就是垃圾車來的日子，那就是星期三
and seeing his "best friend" Richard driving by and saying hello.
每週他都期待着自己“最好的朋友”，垃圾車司機Richard開車經過，跟他打聲招呼
Well—today, on his birthday, our "friend" took time away from his family
今天，在他的生日這一天，我們的“好朋友”特意抽出了陪伴家人的時間
to come drive his "truck" to our house to surprise Henry.
開着他的“卡車”來到我家門前，給Henry一個驚喜
The pure joy on our son's face is something that we will always carry with us.

Henry got to "work" the controls on the truckHenry
還嘗試了一把“操縱” 垃圾車上的控制按鈕
and even "help" to drive it around the neighborhood .
甚至還“幫忙”開着垃圾車在社區裏兜了一圈
I had such emotion today and even tears as Henry delighted in seeing "his" truck today.
眼看着Henry見到“他的”垃圾車如此開心，我的心中充滿喜悅和感動，甚至熱淚盈眶
