繞口令是一種語言遊戲。漢語中的繞口令是將聲、韻、調極易混淆的字交叉重疊，編成句子，說快了容易發生錯誤。美國人也說繞口令。由於英語中只有重音，不像漢語那麼複雜，因此英語中的繞口令遠不如漢語中的那麼多，其繁複的程度也不如漢語中那麼有趣。總之，顯得“薄”了一點。
