舌尖上的美國(131):聖誕祝福用語
教會開始並無聖誕節，約在耶穌昇天後百餘年內纔有。據說：第一個聖誕節是在公元138年，由羅馬主教聖克里門倡議舉行。而教會史載第一個聖誕節則在公元336年。由於聖經未明記耶穌生於何時，故各地聖誕節日期各異。直到公元440年，才由羅馬教廷定12月25日爲聖誕節。公元1607年，世界各地教會領袖在伯利恆聚會，進一步予以確定，從此世界大多數的基督徒均以12月25日爲聖誕節。其實哪一天並不要緊，重要的是應該知道它是爲紀念救主耶穌降生。
由於聖經記載耶穌生於夜間，故傳統稱12月24日夜爲"聖誕夜"或"平安夜"。
在聖誕節人們會準備聖誕樹，給朋友和孩子們準備聖誕節禮物並在聖誕夜放在他們的帽子或者長襪裏面，還會和朋友們一起唱聖誕歌，製作聖誕卡片，和家人朋友在聖誕樹下一起吃聖誕大餐等。總之，聖誕節是個象徵着美好的日子！
