9.戰爭和和平 對話Steven read some news about war, so he is talking about it with his colleague John...
史蒂文在報紙上看到有關戰爭的新聞，於是就和同事約翰談論起來……Steven: Hey, John! What do you think are the main causes of war today?
史蒂文：嘿，約翰！你認爲如今引起戰爭的主要原因有哪些？
John: It's hard to say! But it seems that a lot of wars nowadays are civil wars. People from different ethnic groups in the same country sometimes fight for power in that country.
約翰：很難說！但看起來現在許多戰爭都是國內戰爭。來自同一個國家的不同種族的人們有些時候會爲了國家的政權而開戰。
Steven: Yeah, several of those civil wars have been going on for years and years. It seems they will never end.
史蒂文：是啊，一些這樣的內戰已經一直持續了好多年，感覺永遠都打不完。John: How do you think they could be ended?
約翰：你覺得怎樣才能停止戰爭？Steven: I don't think that there is any easy way.
史蒂文：我不認爲有什麼簡單的方法能讓他們停戰。John: I think one better way to stop it is to cut off their financial support.
約翰：我覺得讓他們停下來的好方法就是切斷戰爭國家的經濟支援。Steven: Yeah, you are right!
