neither nor的用法
...表示"既不……也不……".其含義是否定的,可連接任意兩個並列的成份.
例如：
She likes neither butter nor cheese.(連接名詞)
她既不喜歡黃油也不喜歡乳酪.
She is neither clever nor hardworking.(連接形容詞)她既不聰明,又不勤奮. 此句中...連接兩個賓語.
當...連接兩個主語時,也應遵循"就近原則".
例如： Neither he nor she is at home today.(連接代詞)今天他和她都不在家. 若將...句型變爲肯定句,只需把...改爲...即可,同時謂語動詞必須用複數形式.
a.當主語不是同一個人或物時,nor和neither可互換,當主語是同一個人或物時,只能用nor.
例如:I don't know,nor do I care.我不知道,也不關心. b.當並列分句有兩個以上時,只能用nor. 例如:You can't sing ,nor can I ,nor can she.你不會唱歌,我不會,她也不會.
either or 與 neither nor 用法區別
either與neither可用作形容詞、代詞、副詞和連詞等,它們的用法如下：
一、用作形容詞.起定語作用,常放在單數名詞前er 表示“這個或者那個”; neither 表示“既非這個、也非那個,兩者皆非的”.如：
You may use either book .兩本書你可以隨便用一本.
Neither answer is right . 兩個答案都不對.
二、用作代詞.範圍多限定於兩者之間,常用作主語.作主語時後面跟單數動詞er 表示 “ 二者之一 ” ; neither 表示 “ 兩者都不 ” ,其反義詞是 both .如：
Either of the knives is useful . 兩把刀都有用.
Neither of them was in good health,but both worked very hard . 他們兩人身體都不好,但都努力地工作.
三、用作副詞er 只用於否定句中,表示 “ 也(不) ” ; neither 通常用在句子(或簡略答語)的開頭,表示 “ 也不 ” ,其後要用倒裝語序(即：將主語放在助動詞、情態動詞、連繫動詞 be 之後).如：
I don’t speak doesn’t,either .
( = Neither I nor she speaks French . ) 我不會講法語,她也不會講法語.
If she won’t go,neither shall I .
( = If she won’t go,I won’t,either . ) 要是她不去,我也不去.
四、用作連詞.構成短語 either…or… 與 neither…nor… ,分別表示“要麼 …… 要麼 …… ,或者 …… 或者 …… ”和“既不 …… 也不 …… ,既非 …… 也非 …… ”.常用來連接兩個並列成分,如並列主語、並列謂語等.但應注意以下幾點：
1、無論 either…or… 還是 neither…nor… ,在連接兩個並列的單數名詞作主語時,後面動詞用單數.
2、若連接兩個複數名詞作主語,後面動詞用複數.
3、如果一個單數名詞和一個複數名詞一起作主語時,動詞的單複數形式必須和最靠近的一個主語保持一致.人稱代詞作主語也一樣.
如：
Either Mary or Rose is coming . 不是瑪麗來,就是羅斯來.
(連接兩個並列的單數主語)
Neither boy students nor girl students are right . 男生和女生都不對.
(連接兩個並列的複數主語)
Neither the teacher nor the students are going to Huashan.老師和同學們都不打算去華山.
(動詞與最靠近的主語相一致)
You can either ride a bike or take a bus to go there .你可以騎車或坐公共汽車去那裏.
