possible & probable & likely，帶你準確表達可能性！
說到可能性，在日常的表達中我們常常用到possible，probable和likely，這三者都有形容詞的詞性，但詞彙表達的含義有細微的不同，接下來，就一起看看這三個詞彙的異同吧！
首先，從表達的含義上看：
1.Possible一般用於客觀上有發生的可能性，但暗示這種情況的可能性較小（即說話者對事件發生的可能性不抱有太大希望）。
It is not possible to finish the task tomorrow.
明天完成任務是不可能的。
able表示事物的可能性有充分的依據或者理由，讓人有理由相信。
It is probable that he has forgotten the date.
他很可能忘記這次約會了（暗示可能性較大）。
ly 意爲“很可能的”，暗示有較大的可能，通常可與possible互換。
The flight is likely to be late（暗示可能性較大）.
航班很可能晚點了。
在用法上，possible和probable可用物或it做主語，一般不用人來做主語。而likely可以用人或物或it來做主語。
