應對英語六級考試需掌握的技巧
英語四六級考試成績對於應屆生來說很重要，六級要比四級難一些。在備考的過程中要掌握方法，下面是英語六級考試技巧，大家可以作爲參考。
聽力
爲了適應新的形勢下社會對大學生英語聽力能力需求的變化，進一步提高聽力測試的效度，全國大學英語四、六級考試委員會自2016年6月考試起將對四、六級考試的聽力試題作局部調整。調整的相關內容說明如下：①取消短對話 ②取消短文聽寫 ③新增短篇新聞(3段),其餘測試內容不變。
建議：趁着離考試還有幾天時間，可以把往屆的英語聽力聽一遍，可以適應起相應的聽力節奏;考試時，先大致用眼睛瀏覽一遍，有個概念。在開始後，要注意捕捉每篇文章或每一段開頭的`一句話。在長對話中，要注意一些小細節是需要着重去聽的，例如but、then等邏輯詞。
閱讀理解
閱讀理解部分包括1篇長篇閱讀和3篇仔細閱讀，測試學生在不同層面上的閱讀理解能力，包括理解篇章或段落的主旨大意和重要細節、綜合分析、推測判斷以及根據上下文推測詞義等能力。該部分所佔分值比例爲35%，其中長篇閱讀佔10%，仔細閱讀佔25%。考試時間40分鐘。
長篇閱讀部分採用1篇較長篇幅的文章，總長度四級約1000詞，六級約1200詞。閱讀速度四級約每分鐘100詞;六級約每分鐘120詞。篇章後附有10個句子，每句一題。每句所含的信息出自篇章的某一段落，要求考生找出與每句所含信息相匹配的段落。有的段落可能對應兩題，有的段落可能不對應任何一題。
仔細閱讀部分要求考生閱讀3篇短文。2篇爲多項選擇題型的短文理解測試，每篇長度四級爲300-350詞，六級爲400-450詞;1篇爲選詞填空，篇章長度四級爲200-250詞，六級爲250-300詞。短文理解每篇後有若干個問題，要求考生根據對文章的理解，從每題的四個選項中選擇最佳答案。選詞填空要求考生閱讀一篇刪去若干詞彙的短文，然後從所給的選項中選擇正確的詞彙填空，使短文復原。
建議:我們常說自己閱讀理解中“蒙”的水平很好，而今天就來教教大家怎麼“蒙”，遇到生詞的時候，不要慌，可以選擇性跳過，在閱讀完第一、二段的時候可以去看題目了，如果沒有接着三、四段看下去，以此類推。遇到不熟悉的關鍵詞，根據舉例猜測詞義。
範例二

句中“戰爭”和“重大科學發現”是生詞的實例，通過它們我們可以猜出epochal的大致詞義“重要的”，這與其確切含義“劃時代的”十分接近。
如果時間緊迫的話，可以先照着自己的理解，把題目做下去，平復心情後，在回過頭來在原文中找線索。
翻譯
翻譯部分測試學生把漢語所承載的信息用英語表達出來的能力，所佔分值比例爲15%，考試時間30分鐘。翻譯題型爲段落漢譯英。翻譯內容涉及中國的歷史、文化、經濟、社會發展等。四級長度爲140-160個漢字，六級長度爲180-200個漢字。
建議：先把句子的主幹翻譯過來，在加上其他成分。在有把握的情況下，相應的將詞進行替換。
作文
寫作部分測試學生用英語進行書面表達的能力，所佔分值比例爲15%，考試時間30分鐘。寫作測試選用考生所熟悉的題材，要求考生根據所提供的信息及提示(如：提綱、情景、圖片或圖表等)寫出一篇短文，四級120-180詞，六級150-200詞。
建議：多背幾篇有代表性的範文，到時候考到類似題型的時候，有選擇性的代入即可。

As can be seen in the table, there have been great changes in people’s diet in the past five years. During the five years, the consumption of grain decreased by 4%, while that of meat and milk increased by 4% and 3% respectively. From the figures we can draw the conclusion that grain, as the staple food in China, is playing a less important role in people’s diet, while the consumption of high-energy food, such as meat and milk, has increased steadily.
What caused these changes? I think the reasons are as follows: First, the open policy brings the people opportunities to earn a lot of money. Second, people nowadays pay more attention to the structure of their diet. They are seeking the most reasonable diet structure, which will do good to their health.
From the above, we can see that, with the development of the country, people’s living standard has greatly improved in the five years. We can also expect better living standard and more reasonable diet structure in the future.
