happen的用法
happen是不及物動詞。happen在中學英語教材中的用法主要有以下三種：
1. "sth.+happen+地點/時間"，意爲"某地/某時發生了某事"。例如：
An accident happened in that street.那條街發生了一起事故。
What's happening outside?外面發生什麼事了?
2. "sth.+happen to+sb."意爲"某人出了某事(常指不好的事發生在某人身上)"。例如：
A car accident happened to him yesterday.昨天他發生了交通事故。
What happened to you?(=What was wrong / the matter with you?)你怎麼啦?
3. "sb.+happen+to do sth."意爲"某人碰巧做某事"。例如：
I happened to meet her in the street.我碰巧在街上遇見她。
It happened that I was out when he called.他來訪時我碰巧不在。
使用happen的注意事項
1. happen爲不及物動詞，不能用於被動語態。例如，要表示"這個故事發生在去年。"不能說：The story was happened last year.但可以說：The story happened last year.
2. happen爲短暫性動詞，不能與表示一段時間的狀語連用。例如，要表示"這事發生一年了。"不能說：This happened for one year.但可以說：This happened one year ago.
3. happen一般用來強調某事發生的偶然性。如要表示事先安排或有準備的事情或活動，則不能用happen，而要用take place。例如：

happen作“發生、碰巧”解,常用於偶然或突發性事件,例如:

come about表示“發生、產生”,多指事情已經發生了,但還不知道爲什麼,常用於疑問句和否定句,
例如:When Mother woke up,she didn’t know what had come about.
