常用來連接結果狀語從句的連接詞有：so that、so...that...、such...that...等。
一. so that
so that既可以引導目的狀語從句（表示“爲了，以便”）， 也可以引導結果狀語從句（表示“因此，以至於”）。
當連接目的狀語從句時，一般that從句中會含有情態動詞，而當引導結果狀語從句時，大多不用情態動詞。
It was very cold, so that the river froze.

I came to the class early so that I could see the classmate beside me.

二. so...that...
so...that...表示“如此...，以至於...”，so後面接形容詞或副詞。
1、so+形容詞+that
Some people were so moved by the sight that they began to cry.
2、so+副詞+that
The ball struck him so hard that he nearly fell into the water.
三. such...that...
與so...that...不同的是，such...that...中的such後接的是名詞。其常見的結構用法有：
1、such+不定冠詞+形容詞+單數可數名詞+that
He's such a handsome boy that everyone likes him.
2、such+形容詞+複數可數名詞+that
He told us such horrible stories that we all scared.
3、such+形容詞+不可數名詞+that
It is such nice weather that we decide to go to the beach.
