表示時刻用基數詞
①表示整點可加o'clock，口語中常省略
e.g. -Excuse me. What's the time? -It's five (o'clock).
②表示"幾點幾分"有兩種形式
A. 倒讀法 30分以內用"分鐘數+past+鐘點數"，表示幾點過幾分。超過30分鐘用"分鐘數+to+下一個鐘點數"，表示到幾點差幾分。15分鐘用a quarter，30分鐘用half，不用fifteen或thirty，不可在後面加o'clock。
e.g. 7:10 ten past seven 6:50 ten to seven 3:15 a quarter past three 5:30 half past five
B. 順讀法 第一個基數詞表示鐘點，第二個基數詞表示分鐘，"分鐘"可用fifteen，thirty
e.g. 1:15 one fifteen 10:30 ten thirty
分數與百分數在句中的應用分數、百分數與主謂一致
分數、百分數的考查往往和主謂一致相聯繫。當分數、百分數修飾可數名詞的複數時，謂語動詞用複數形式;當分數、百分數修飾不可數名詞時，謂語動詞用單數形式。如：
Eighty percent of the students in our school come from Henan.
我們學校百分之八十的學生來自河南。
Three fourths of the students in my class are interested in English.
我們班四分之三的學生對英語感興趣。
Two thirds of the water on the earth is sea water.
地球上三分之二的水是海水。
