A pre-divorce exam for couples is being trialed in southwest China, reports the Chengdu Business Daily.
據《成都商報》報道，一項離婚前的考試正在中國西南地區進行試驗。The special test was devised by Wang Shiyu, a local judge in Yibin, Sichuan Province.
這項特殊的測試是由四川省宜賓市一名名叫王士雨的法官設計的。It's designed to evaluate the condition of the marriage, whether there are any chances of a reunion, or rehabilitation. It also aims to remind the couple of their good times together, said Wang Shiyu.
設計這份試卷的目的是爲了評估婚姻狀況，看是否有挽回的餘地。據王士雨介紹，其目的還有提醒夫妻回憶起以往的美好時光。
Wang point out that the exam is not mandatory, and will only be sat with the mutual consent of the couple who file for divorce.
王士雨指出，這項考試並非強制性的，只會在提出離婚的夫婦雙方都同意的情況下進行。The exam paper contains both subjective and objective questions, on topics such as the date of the couple's wedding anniversary, their current opinion of family and marriage, etc.
這份考卷既有主觀題，也有客觀題，比如夫婦結婚紀念日、他們目前對家庭和婚姻的看法等。After the exam, the couple review and mark each other's papers. Scores below 60 percent suggest the marriage is on the verge of collapse.
在考試結束後，夫妻二人相互檢查並批改對方的試卷。分數低於60分就表明這段婚姻處於崩潰的邊緣。
So far the only exam took place on September 14, 2017. The couple in the case scored 80 and 86, separately.
