After touring France, the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and nearly 100 exhibitionssince 2008, the 1,600 paper-mache panda sculptures by French artist Paulo Grangeon will maketheir conservation statement in Hong Kong for the first time.
法國藝術家保羅·格蘭金創作的1600只紙熊貓，自2008年以來已經在不同國家和地區展出了近100次，其中包括法國、荷蘭、意大利、瑞士和德國。這次，熊貓們將第一次來香港宣傳環境保護。
1,600 represents the number of pandas left in the wild.
1600只代表了現存野生大熊貓的數量。
Made from recycled materials each measuring 30cm in height, the pandas will be on display forone month in flashmob-inspired style at the Hong Kong International Airport, Tian TanBuddha, Tsing Ma Bridge, Shatin Racecourse, Victoria Park and Ocean Park before heading toand marking the opening of design and high-end entertainment complex PMQ in June.

For instance, water pollution, air pollution, noise pollution and so on. Water pollution cause many kinds of disease that have negative effects on human beings, sometimes the diseases will take people’s life away. Dirty air will increase the rate of getting lung cancer. While the noise pollution will cause insomnia. People’s health condition will be damaged.
In my humble opinion, people should take measures to control the pollution. Recently, not only the government, but also individual has taken part in the action of protecting the environment. This is a good sign. Rivers are being cleaned, air is purified, and the people come to realize that the importance of protecting the environment.
However, this is not enough, the problems are still exist. Not all of them have been solved. Some factories are still pouring dirty water into the rivers or give off the toxic gas into the sky. We should know that protecting the environment needs everybody’s effort.
我們都知道，污染對生物有很大危害。在這個世界上，有許多不同類型的污染。例如：水污染，空氣污染，噪音污染等等。水污染會使人們生病，甚至死亡。髒空氣會使患肺癌的機率上升。而噪音污染會讓人失眠。人們的健康水平會下降。
在我看來，人們應該採取措施去保護環境。最近，不僅僅是政府部門，個人也參與到環保中去。這是個好現象。河流乾淨了，空氣清新了，人們也意識到環保的重要性。
然而，這些還遠遠不夠。問題依舊存在。不是所有的問題都得到了解決。一些工廠依舊往河流裏面排放污水，向天空排放有毒氣體。我們應該謹記環境保護需要每個人的努力。
