弗格森告別演講動情哽咽：我還是曼聯人

Sir Alex Ferguson managed his last match at Old Trafford today against Swansea City in the Manchester rain. Javier Hernandez and Rio Ferdinand scored the two goals for United, but an early second half goal for Swansea scored by Michu left United looking for that late goal to win the match, which Rio scored.

Immediately after the match, Sir Alex Ferguson spoke to the supporters in what would normally be his end of season speech, with this one being his end of career speech. Here is what the departing manager said:

“I’ve got absolutely no script in my mind, I’m just going to ramble on and hope I get to the core of what this football club’s meant to be.

“My retirement doesn’t mean the end of my relationship with the club, I’m able to now enjoy watching them rather than suffering with them. If you think about it, those last-minute goals, the comebacks, even the defeats, are all part of this great football club of ours. It’s been unbelievable, thank you for that.
