一小老闆花半噸人民幣買了一輛麪包車

Employees at a local car dealership in Zhanjiang, Guangdong were in for a rude awakening when a customer drove up to their office in a truck filled with wads of cash — 100,000RMB ($15,185) to be exact.
廣東湛江一家汽車店的員工被眼前的一幕驚呆了：一個買家開着拖拉機來到門店，而拖拉上塞滿了一捆捆現金，共計10萬人民幣（約15185美元）。

The money, mostly made up of one yuan banknotes and coins wrapped in newspaper and packed into 10 boxes, is payment for a 90,000RMB ($13,665) van that the man, identified only as Cai, had wished to purchase.
這筆錢都是1元的紙鈔或者硬幣，用報紙裹着，加起來總共有10箱。最終付款90000元人民幣（約13665美元）購買了一輛麪包車，買主姓蔡。

Upon seeing the piles of cash Cai brought in, the dealership's sales manager, Gu Liyuan said: "I have never seen so much cash in my life!”
看到蔡先生帶來的這一堆現金，門店銷售經理顧麗媛（音）說：“我這輩子都沒見過這麼多現金啊！”

According to local daily news reports and South China Morning Post, the dealership's staff then teamed up to count the bills that weighed at least half a ton. It reportedly took 13 staff members 10 hours to finish the process.
據當地媒體《南華早報》報道，門店員工隨後被召集起來，終於點清了這半噸重的現金。13個員工足足點了10個小時。

Cai, who sells wholesale snacks to small village shops, is always paid in small change, which resulted in the accumulation of small bills. He has since admitted that he had gone to several banks for help, but was turned away.
蔡先生是做副食品批發的，客戶也都是周圍村莊的小店，因此經常收款也受到各種零錢，這才導致了大量零錢的積攢。蔡先生說自己也曾經去銀行兌換過，但是都被拒絕了。

"Although some people might think that I'm flouting my wealth by paying for everything in small change, but it's all I have and I just hope that the other person will accept them," he told Zhanjiang Daily News.
“有的人認爲我用零錢賣東西是在哭窮，我就是隻有這點錢，也想找到能收這些錢的地方，”他告訴《湛江日報》

While Cai might have caused the car dealership in question more work, the shop's manager Yang Huai has been understanding and sympathetic towards the situation.
雖然蔡先生給汽車店帶來了更多工作，但是門店經理楊懷（音）表示理解這種情況。

"Mr Cai is a loyal customer and has already bought four cars from us, so we have to help him solve this problem," Yang said.
“蔡先生是我們的忠實客戶，已經在我們店裏買了四輛車了，所有我們也得幫他。”楊說。
