考研英語寫作培訓：轉折及讓步詞
考研英語的複習方法相信每個人都有自己的一套邏輯與考量，只要對你的學習有效果的方法我們都可以嘗試。寫作中根據表達或修辭的需要，有時需要用到轉折詞和表示讓步關係的詞彙。下面就寫作中這兩類的常用詞進行總結。
轉折關係
1.However
注意：however作“然而”講時是副詞，所以不能直接引導兩個句子。
錯誤：This was not an easy decision, however, It is a decision that we feel is dictated by our duty.
正確：This was not an easy decision. However, It is a decision that we feel is dictated by our duty. 這可不是一個輕鬆的決定。不過我們覺得我們有責任做出這樣的的決定。
2.yet
注意：yet作“然而”講時是連詞，可連接兩個句子。
例句：It's a small car, yet it's surprisingly spacious. 這輛汽車不大，然而卻出奇地寬敞。
3.on the contrary, in contrary, by contrary
例句：
In contrary, underdeveloped rural finance will restrict to the healthy development of rural economy. 相反，如果農村金融發展不足，將制約農村經濟的健康發展。
On the contrary, we should strengthen our corporation with them. 相反，我們應該加強和他們的合作。
4.whereas
連詞，可連接句子，引導與主句內容相對比的評論。
例句：Some of the studies show positive results, whereas others do not. 有一些研究結果令人滿意，然而其他的則不然。
Benefits are linked to inflation, whereas they should be linked to the cost of living. 救濟金與通貨膨脹聯繫了起來，而它們應該與生活費用掛鉤。
5.but
But爲常用詞，考生對此的掌握沒有問題，此處不再贅述。

讓步關係
1.although, even though, though, even if
在兩個從句或句子之間可用上述詞表示對比。Though都用於口語;都可用於句首或帶有動詞的從句開頭。
注意even不能單獨置於句首或從句開頭以代替although，even though或though。
例句：Although they're expensive, they last forever and never go out of style. 儘管它們貴，它們永遠耐用並且永不過時。
2.nevertheless, nonetheless副詞。
例句：There is little chance that we will succeed in changing the law. Nevertheless, it is important that we try. 我們幾乎沒有可能改變法律。不過，重要的是我們努力爭取。
The book is too long but, nonetheless, informative and entertaining. 這本書篇幅太長，但是很有知識性和趣味性。
3.notwithstanding
表“儘管”，作副詞和介詞用。
例句：Notwithstanding, the problem is a significant one. 然而，這個問題仍很重要。
The bad weather notwithstanding, the event was a great success. 儘管天氣惡劣，活動還是取得了巨大的成功。
4.despite, in spite of
注意後不可跟句子。例句：She was good at physics despite the fact that she found it boring. 儘管她認爲物理枯燥無味，她卻學得很好。
諸如此類的句子還有很多，在這裏我們就不一一列舉了，萬變不離其宗，其實如果你仔細歸類，就會發現英語中有好多詞可以互相替換，只要再牢牢記住幾個句式，想要作文“脫穎而出”也並非那麼難的。當然努力是前提，大家加油吧!
