比較狀語從句
比較狀語從句是運用於形容詞和副詞的原級、比較級及最高級句子中，起副詞作用的句子。引導比較狀語從句的連詞主要是 as 和 than。
1. 形容詞/副詞的比較級+than+被比較的對象。表示兩個人或事物在某（些）方面的差別。than是連詞，引導從句。後面被比較對象如果是名詞，多用省略形式，省去與主句中相同的部分。
Man grows faster than the planet he inhabits. 人類成長的速度遠比他居住的星球快得多。
注意：
①從句中的主語（名詞）如果與主句中的主語一致，爲了避免重複，常用that代替不可數或某
可數名詞，用those代替可數複數名詞，用one或ones代替可數名詞。例如：
The result of this experiment is better than that of the last one. 這次實驗的結果要比上次好。
The students in our class are more diligent than those in their class. 我們班的學生比他們班的學生用功。
②比較狀語從句的動詞，如果與主句的謂語動詞一致，且爲行爲動詞時，常用do（does，did）代替，以免重複。例如：
We have produced even more coal this year than we did that year. 我們今年出產煤要比去年出產得更多。
She drives better than her husband does. 她開車開得比她丈夫好。
2.①“no+比較級+than”（不比…多，不少於）。no是副詞，在主句中作狀語，修飾形容詞或副詞的比較級；than是連詞，引導從句。例如：
Tom is no less diligent than peter. 湯姆用功不比彼得差。（湯姆和彼得同樣用功）
He feels no better today than he did yesterday.他今天的感覺不比昨天好/他今天的感覺跟昨天同樣不好。
②“not more than”不如…(前者不如後者)
Jack is not more diligent than John. 傑克不如約翰勤奮。
3．句型the…the…(越…越…)即：從句：the + 比較級，主句：the + 比較級
The more we study, the more we discover our ignorance. 我們越學習，就越發現自己無知。
主句如果是將來時，從句可用現在時代替將來時。例如：
The longer the treatment is delayed, the worse the prognosis will be. 延誤治療的時間越長，預後越差。
