A:Well. I personally love the steak here.

B:Well-done. I like my steak to be completely cooked.

語言剖析
1. I can't decide between the steak and the fish.
I can't decide between the steak and the fish. 我不知道是吃牛排還是吃魚。
當你拿不定注意選擇什麼的時候，也可以問What’s the specialty of the restaurant？你們店的招牌菜是什麼？再比如小E老師去買西裝，同一款式的粉色和黑色都很好看，這個時候就問服務員I can’t decide between the pink one and the you have a recommendation？
2. I personally love the steak here.
personally 就個人而言
Personally 就個人而言，意思等同於In my point of view/I think，最近啊，小E老師有一件苦惱的事情：有位同事經常說大話，我認爲他不誠實，可是無奈的是還是有許多人信任他。說了別人也不信我，哎~你們儘管信任他好了，我依然保持我的觀點。這個時候小E老師只能說，Personally, I think he is dishonest, but many people trust him.就我個人角度，我覺得他不誠實，信不信由你。

How would you like your steak cooked? 您的牛排要積幾分熟？
這是餐廳服務員常用的點餐用語，簡單一點也可以用How would you like your steak？
4. Well done
Well done 全熟
牛排分爲四個不同的生熟程度，分別是三分熟rare，五分熟medium rare，七分熟 medium well和全熟well done，根本沒有八分熟哦？
如果你點了雞蛋培根，服務員通常會問：你的蛋要怎麼做呢？How do you like your eggs cooked?如果隨意的話，服務員會說How would you like your eggs？你可以回答Scrambled 炒蛋;Over-easy 煎兩面，蛋黃微熟;Over-medium 煎兩面，蛋黃半熟;Over-hard 煎兩面，蛋黃全熟;Sunny-side up 煎一面（有太陽的那面朝上，是不是很形象呢）

小E老師到你家裏做客，你也可以用Anything to drink?問我要不要喝點什麼？當然你也可以像昨天的課程中David老師用的表達Can I make you some coffee or tea？
7. Coke is fine.
Coke is fine. 可樂也可以。
都說中國人說話含蓄，其實美國人也會口是心非。當老外說fine的時候，其實的意思是bad，不是很情願。因爲小E老師腸胃不好，不能喝太冷的東西，哎，沒有hot tea，熱茶，那就口樂將就一下吧！這裏給大家分享一個小小的文化差異，老外是沒有和開水的習慣的哦，所以不要給老外喝熱水，會把他們燙傷的哦！

比如週末大家約好一起去看電影，可是電影快開場了，就你沒到，朋友打電話給你，你回覆到，Don’t be mind.I will arrive shortly.別擔心，我馬上就到，其實呢，可能你在宿舍剛剛梳妝完畢。我快要到了除了.I will arrive shortly.還可以說I am almost there.
