set about 開始去做（處理）

該習語是一種非正規的口語表達方式，它不能用於被動語態，而且set about只能跟名詞或動詞的-ing形式。例如：She lit the fire and set about making the soup.（她生了火，開始做湯。）

A:Where's Tom?

A:湯姆去哪了？

B:He set about his homework after school and hasn't finished it yet.

B:放學後他就開始做作業了，還沒做完。

A:I don't know why the teacher assigns so much homework!

A:真不明白老師爲什麼要佈置那麼多的作業！

B:That will do him good.
