V: Merry Christmas, Steven!
J: Thanks! You, too. Do you celebrate Christmas?
V: Not really. But I know all Americans do. Right?
J: Well, maybe not all -- although about 70% of Americans do, so I guess you could say that most Americans celebrate Christmas.
V: What will you do this year? Will you return home?
J: No, but I will visit my cousin and his American friends in a town outside of Shanghai -- so I will be with family. We're going to have a Christmas party.
V: That's cool. What will you do?
J: You know, the usual holiday things, like eat lots of food! We'll also give gifts, sing some Christmas songs, play some games, and read about the first Christmas. My cousin and his friends are also preparing a little Christmas play.
V: Sounds like fun. Have a great time.
J: Thanks! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
