ever since結構的用法

1. ever since 的結構：(作爲連詞)=since 完成時態---- ever since +主+動詞簡單過去式
例：I have known him ever since he was a child. 他從小我就認識他了。
這種用法同since 差不多，不過 ever since 比 since 用得少。
再如：We have lived in Shanghai ever since we came to China.(自從我們來到中國之後就住在上海。)
2. 以上所說的 ever since 作爲連詞。
ever since 也可作爲副詞，解釋“此後”(就一直...)
例：1)He fell ill at Christmas and has been ill ever since. 他在聖誕節生病了此後就一直不適。(has + be ill)
2)He left home last year and has been away ever since. 他去年離家走了，此後一直在外面。(has + be away)
3)He fell off his horse a week ago and has been in bed ever since. 一週前他從馬背上跌下來，從那以後就一直躺在牀上。
4)He went to Turkey in 1950 and has lived there ever since. 他在1950年去土耳其，此後就一直住在那裏。
3. has not been able to 這實際上就是 be able to 加上 have 罷了。所謂 be able to 就是“有可能”不是“能”(can)。如果一直，始終沒有可能就是has not been able to ,這很簡單。
如果 it has not been easy. 就是“那件事一直不是輕而易舉的。”完成時態不一定都解釋爲“已經”，有時要解釋爲“一直”。
