It’s not sofar from Changsha, taking about five hours to get there. Zhangjiajie is famousfor its wonderful mountains. The sceneries there are amazing that no one shouldmiss. But we will have a tough journey for climbing high mountains, which is noteasy for us all. This is why we will stay there for longer. In the end, we willgo home by train.

i live in hollywood. you may think people in such a glamorous, fun-filledplace are happier than others. if so, you have some mistaken ideas about thenature of happiness. many intelligent people still equate happiness with truth is that fun and happiness have little or nothing in common. fun iswhat we experience during an act. happiness is what we experience after an is a deeper, more abiding emotion. going to an amusement park or ball game, watching a movie or television, are fun activities that help us relax, temporarily forget our problems and maybe even laugh. but they do not bringhappiness, because their positive effects end when the fun ends.i have oftenthought that if hollywood stars have a role to play, it is to teach us thathappiness has nothing to do with fun. these rich, beautiful individuals haveconstant access to glamorous parties, fancy cars, expensive homes, everythingthat spells "happiness". but in memoir after memoir, celebrities reveal theunhappiness hidden beneath all their fun: depression, alcoholism, drugaddiction, broken marriages, troubled children, profound loneliness. the waypeople cling to the belief that a fun-filled, pain-free life equates happinessactually diminishes their chances of ever attaining real happiness. if fun andpleasure are equated with happiness, then pain must be equated with , in fact, the opposite is true: more times than not, things that lead tohappiness involve some pain. as a result, many people avoid the very endeavorsthat are the source of true happiness. they fear the pain inevitably brought bysuch things as marriage, raising children, professional achievement, religiouscommitment, civic or charitable work, and self-improvement.

standard usage includes those words and expressions understood, used, andaccepted by a majority of the speakers of a language in any situation regardlessof the level of formality. as such, these words and expressions are well definedand listed in standard dictionaries. colloquialisms, on the other hand, arefamiliar words and idioms that are understood by almost all speakers of alanguage and used in informal speech or writing, but not considered appropriatefor more formal situations. almost all idiomatic expressions are colloquiallanguage. slang, however, refers to words and expressions understood by a largenumber of speakers but not accepted as good, formal usage by the oquial expressions and even slang may be found in standard dictionaries butwill be so identified. both colloquial usage and slang are more common in speechthan in writing.

colloquial speech often passes into standard speech. some slang also passesinto standard speech, but other slang expressions enjoy momentary popularityfollowed by obscurity. in some cases, the majority never accepts certain slangphrases but nevertheless retains them in their collective memories. everygeneration seems to require its own set of words to describe familiar objectsand has been pointed out by a number of linguists that three culturalconditions are necessary for the creation of a large body of slang t, the introduction and acceptance of new objects and situations in thesociety; second, a diverse population with a large number of subgroups; third, association among the subgroups and the majority population.

finally, it is worth noting that the terms "standard" "colloquial" and"slang" exist only as abstract labels for scholars who study language. only atiny number of the speakers of any language will be aware that they are usingcolloquial or slang expressions. most speakers of english will, duringappropriate situations, select and use all three types of expressions.
