在聽第一遍時，重點聽主題思想和重點詞，掌握全文大意，不要一聽錄音就寫，因爲這樣急着寫，也許能寫出前邊的單詞或句子，卻有可能不知全文的大意。

聽寫的第二遍和第三遍朗讀是以意羣爲單位重複的，在第二遍朗讀錄音時，要以意羣爲單位去理解。因時間關係，不可能一詞一詞地全部寫下，所以要分清主次信息，抓句型和關鍵詞(主語、謂語等)。

在聽第三遍時，再把其他部分，如修飾語、定冠詞等遺漏內容補上，若有些詞還來不及寫，可先用一些自己認識的縮略形式，甚至特殊符號代替，等最後一遍覈查時或結束前的兩分鐘檢查時間時再補寫出原形。

運用期待語法的作用。聽之前，根據題目展開聯想，調集大腦中儲存的相關信息，同時仔細理解第一句，因爲首句常是主題句，後邊的句子圍繞它進一步展開，這樣，可以更快地進入狀態。

運用語法知識。有時即使沒聽出來，也可補寫出來，如單複數和時態等;還可利用邏輯推理能力，因此，檢查中如發現不合邏輯思維的句子，就可以肯定所寫有誤，進而改正。
