小學五年級英語下冊知識點：分數的表示法
1. 用基數詞+序數詞表示：
分數在英語中通常是藉助於基數詞和序數詞來共同表達的。其中基數詞表示分子，序數詞表示分母。如：
The centimeter is one-tenth of the decimeter or one-hundredth of the meter.釐米是分米的十分之一，或者說是米的百分之一。
However， the number of the boys will be less than a third of the girls inthe class. 但是班裏男生的人數將比女生的三分之一更少。
.從以上例子可以看出：分子爲1時，既可以用 one，也可用a。
2. 如果分子大於1，分母則要用複數形式。如：
三分之一 one-third;三分之二 two-thirds
3. 二分之一不能說 a(one) second，而要說 a(one) half。
四分之一和四分之三可以說 a(one) fourth 和 three-fourths，但常用 a quarter 和 three quarters表示。
4. 分數修飾的名詞在句子中作主語時，謂語動詞是用單數還是複數取決於名詞，即與名詞保持一致。如：
Only one-fifth of air consists of oxygen. 氧氣只佔空氣的五分之一。
About two thirds of the students are going to attend the meeting.大約三分之二的學生都將參加會議。
5. 帶分數的表示：
所謂帶分數，實際上是整數+分數，表達時分而述之，只是整數部分與分數部分要用連詞 and 連接。如：
You should finish the work.within one and a fourth hours.你應在1小時25分鐘內完成工作。
6. 分數常和of 連用，作主語或賓語，但分數也可以不帶of 短語直接作主語或賓語。例如：
In U.S.， two-thirds continue to support death penalty.在美國，三分之二的人仍然支持死刑。

1. 形容詞原級可以被 very，quite，so，rather 等詞的修飾
1)very 非常
This is a very interesting book. 這是一本很有趣的書。
注：very 也可以接形容詞級，表示強調。格式是：the very + est結尾的形容詞級或是不規則形容詞級。例：the very lowestprice 最低的價格
2)quite 相當
Its quite cold this morning. 今天早晨相當冷。
3)so 那麼

4)rather 有些，頗

2. 在 asas 和 not soas 的中間形容詞常用原級
1)asas 表示相等
This knife is as sharp as that one. 這把刀和那把一樣鋒利。

2)not soas， not asas 表示不如
Hes not so clever as his brother. 他不像他的兄弟那麼聰明。
