職場英語日記 第50期:海豚
I just got home from my second day of sailing and I am exhausted, but happy. It was cold and a bit rainy this afternoon as we sailed back to the mainland, but I had a good rain jacket and lots od layers to keep me warm. The weather didn't bother me because I was so happy.
出海兩天，現在剛回來。雖然累死了，但是很開心。我們的船下午回到陸地時，天有點冷而且下着毛毛雨，不過我有件很棒的雨衣，裏面有很多層可以保暖。我太開心了，一點都不擔心天氣。
The best part of the trip was when we were about halfway across the strait and I heard a slapping sound against the hull. I wondered if we mighr have hit a floating log or something. But then there was more slapping and some splashing.
這趟旅行最精彩的地方就是，我們沿着海峽回來時，半路上聽到一種很大的聲音，好像有什麼東西撞擊着船身。懷疑是不是撞到浮木之類的東西，可是撞擊聲越來越多，而且還有水花飛濺的聲音。I went to the bow to investigate and saw a pod of dolphins swimming beside the boat. They were so beautiful! I have never seen wild dolphins before and I could hardly believe my luck!
我到船頭察看，卻發現一羣海豚在那裏游來游去。海豚真美!我以前從沒看過野生海豚，真不敢相信運氣會這麼好!
The played games with the boat, racing with us and wearing back forth across the bow. Every so often one of them would swim too close and bump into the side or front of the hull. They were like children playing. Dad and I were both in complete awe.
它們在和船玩遊戲，比賽看誰遊得快，還在船頭那邊來來回回地迂迥前進。偶爾會有一些海豚遊得太近，撞到船頭或船身。它們像小孩一樣玩耍着，我和老爸都看得目瞪口呆。I feel so lucky tonight. I feel very grateful for all these good things in my life.
我覺得今晚運氣真好，爲生命中諸般美好獻上我的感謝。
