達芬奇畫作《救世主》售出4.5億美元 創拍賣紀錄
A 500-year-old painting of Christ believed to have been painted by Leonardo da Vinci has been sold in New York for a record 450 million dollars.
一幅被認爲是出自達·芬奇之手的、已有500年的基督畫像，於近日在紐約拍出了創紀錄的4.5億美元。The painting is known as Salvator Mundi. It is the highest auction price for any work of art and brought cheers and applause at the packed auction room.
此畫名爲《救世主》。這是藝術品拍賣的最高價格，使座無虛席的拍賣廳爆出陣陣歡呼和掌聲。Bidding began at 100 million dollars and the final bid for the work was 400 million dollars, with fees bringing the full price up to 450.3 million dollars. The unidentified buyer was involved in a bidding contest, via telephone, that lasted nearly 20 minutes.

Leonardo da Vinci died in 1519. "Salvator Mundi" is just one of 16 known surviving paintings from the master Renaissance artist. It was only certified an original Da Vinci in 2011.
