第14屆QS全球大學排名揭曉 中國高校進步顯著
China has 12 universities within the World's Top 100, only next to the United States and Britain and No.1 in Asia, according to the 14th edition of QS World University Rankings released last Thursday.
上週四，QS發佈了第14屆世界大學排名。中國共有12所大學進入了世界前100名，僅次於美國和英國，位列亞洲第一。The latest edition of the rankings also showed that, of the Chinese universities included in the Top 100, six of them are from the Chinese mainland. Meanwhile, 38 Chinese universities are within the World's Top 500.
該最新版排行榜顯示，在世界前100名大學中，有六所大學來自中國大陸。另外，共有38所中國大學進入世界前500名。Among the institutions in the Chinese mainland, Tsinghua University ranks the highest, at the world's Top 25. Its ranking is higher than UC Berkeley(27th) and University of Tokyo (28th).
在上榜的中國大陸高校中，清華大學位列第25名，是中國排名最高的學府，超過了加州伯克利（27名）和東京大學（28名）。
In total, China is home to more top-100 institutions than any other Asian nation. It is ahead of Japan (five), South Korea (five) and Singapore (two).

QS方面稱，中國高校吸引海外優秀人才的能力在不斷增高，國際教職工和國際學生比例進步顯著。QS has been compiling university rankings since 2004, when they published their inaugural QS World University Rankings.
