《權力的遊戲》導演操刀索尼真人版《花木蘭》
Game of Thrones director Alex Graves is in early talks with Sony to direct its live-action film Mulan, according to Hollywood Reporters.
據《好萊塢報道》指出，在與索尼電影公司的初期對話中，《權利的遊戲》的導演亞歷克斯·格拉維斯確定將執導真人版《花木蘭》。The story is based on the household legend of Hua Mulan, a young woman who lived during the Southern and Northern Dynasties (420-589) and disguised herself as a man to go to battlefields in place of her ill father.
該故事講述的是生活在中國歷史上南北朝時期（公元420-589年）、家喻戶曉的傳奇人物花木蘭，女扮男裝代替多病的父親出征沙場。Sony said the film would be an international-Chinese co-production.
索尼公司表示，這部電影會是國際與中國合作製作。
The story of Hua Mulan was depicted by Disney in its 1998 animated feature Mulan. Disney is also working on a live-action version, scheduled to be released in November, 2018.
迪士尼公司曾於1998年製作了動畫版的《花木蘭》。而目前迪士尼方面也在計劃拍攝真人版，檔期定於2018年11月。Disney's announcement last year of a live-action remake drew an online petition urging the company not to have a white actress play the role. The petition garnered 85,300 signatures.
迪士尼公司於去年宣佈將籌拍真人版《花木蘭》，結果引發民衆網上請願抵制白人當主演，共有85300人簽名。The cast for Sony's production is yet to be announced.
目前索尼公司的參演陣容尚未對外公佈。Graves has directed several episodes of HBO's award-winning Game of Thrones. He also has episodes for Proof, House of Cards and Bloodline under his belt.
HBO熱播劇《權利的遊戲》部分劇集就是由格拉維斯執導的。從外，他也曾掌鏡電視劇《靈動證據》、《紙牌屋》和《血脈》。
