"Miss Tiffany's Universe 2009" Crowns Sorrawee

Thirty Thailand competitors joined in the "Miss Tiffany's Universe 2009" final contest at the Tiffany Show Theater in the east coastal city Pattaya of Thailand. The winner would participate in the Miss Queen of the Universe Contest on behalf of Thailand in November. "The 12th Miss Tiffany's Universe 2009" was themed with "Live Learn Love to Enhance your beauty". The contest is expected to promote the tourism in Thailand, especially to feature Pattaya as a tourist resort. The money raised would be donated to Thailand Red Cross Society for AIDS prevention and treatment. The contestants' age range from 17 to 25 and 23 of them have bachelor degrees. Sorrawee Nattee, 20 years old, was crowned "Miss Tiffany's Universe 2009". When the result was announced, she knelt down in tears with hands clasped. When asked about her future plan, Sorrawee said " I hope I could run my own wedding photo gallery after college and have a successful career in love industry. "

泰國人妖選美 20歲佳麗娜蒂“豔冠羣芳”

泰國5月15日選出最新一屆的人妖皇后，由20歲的“佳麗”娜蒂(Sorrawee Nattee)勝出，不管是“他”的身材還是臉蛋，恐怕連真正的女人看了都會自嘆不如。泰國芭達雅舉行的2009年“蒂芬妮環球小姐”(Miss Tiffany's Universe transvestite beauty pageant)選美，舞臺上的“佳麗”全部都是男兒身，他們婀娜多姿的身材、吹彈可破的肌膚，卻叫真正的女人又羨慕又嫉妒。30位“佳麗”一路過關斬將，最後是20歲的娜蒂豔冠羣芳，從上屆冠軍手上接過後冠的那一刻，娜蒂不禁喜極而泣。據介紹，每年度的“蒂芬妮環球小姐”，也就是俗稱的“人妖選美”，在泰國，雖然人妖外在的性別特徵改變，但是法律上作爲男性的身份並沒有改變，也因此經常招來社會異樣的眼光。主辦單位指出，“環球蒂芬妮小姐從一開始，我們就想爲人妖爭取他們在社會的平等，同時也呼籲民衆善待他們。”新的人妖皇后未來將代表泰國參加世界變性人選美，爲國爭光。
