七夕共賞兩首中國情詩英譯 教你用雙語表白

翻譯註釋：
金風玉露
金風玉露其實就是指代秋天，許淵衝先生這裏一句When Autumn’s Golden wind embraces Dew of Jades，就從字面來看，也還是很有意境很優美的。
忍顧鵲橋歸路
鵲橋——在我們的語境中，“鵲橋”是個很有詩意的畫面，而且又和七夕的傳說聯繫在一起，但是文化差異的原因，magpie在英語中並沒有什麼美好的象徵意義，而且老外對七夕的傳說基本上也沒什麼深刻印象，哪怕對此有所瞭解，也未必就能對“鵲橋”這個詞產生審美和詩意的聯想。所以許淵衝先生在這裏將“鵲橋”虛化成了homeward way：回家的路。其實這裏這句“忍顧鵲橋歸路”也翻譯得相當簡單：Can they bear a separate homeward way? 如何能忍受獨自歸家？就是這個意思。
兩情若是久長時，又豈在朝朝暮暮
If love between both sides can last for aye，
Why need they stay together night and day?
這裏last for aye中，aye意爲“永遠”，古英語，這裏用看上去比forever要典雅。
