最常見的比喻有兩種：明喻simile和暗喻metaphor。

simile明喻

A simile is a figure of speech in which two fundamentally unlike things are explicitly compared, usually in a phrase introduced by like or as.

metaphor暗喻

1. Speak Now - Taylor Swift

據說《Speak Now》這首歌曲的創作靈感來源於黴黴的一個女性朋友告訴她的故事。這個朋友在高中的時候就和自己的男朋友分道揚鑣了，後來她這個朋友的男朋友告訴她自己要結婚了，娶的是一個可怕的女孩子。於是，她就想問她的這個朋友一句“哦，你現在想要說些什麼嗎？”。另外，在西方婚禮中，牧師在婚禮結束前會說：“有異議就請現在開口（speak now），否則請永遠保持緘默”。

3. Roar – Katy Perry

既然上文提到了黴黴，那我們就順帶着說一說她的冤家——水果姐的歌，嘻嘻。
