從零開始學語法：形容詞比較級和最高級的用法

形容詞是修飾名詞、表示名詞屬性的詞。學習形容詞，很重要的一部分內容就是形容詞的比較級、最高級。關於它們的構成，之前已經有所歸納，請看形容詞比較級的構成方法。

上一次我們講了形容詞原級的用法，今天就來說說比較級和最高級吧~

形容詞比較級的用法

一、在"..."句中：

He is taller than I.（口語中常作：He is taller than me.）

他比我高。

He is two heads taller than I.

他比我高出兩個頭。

二、在"which..., ...?"句中，表示兩者比較：

Which is bigger, the sun or the moon?

太陽和月亮，哪一個更大？

三、比較級+and+比較級：

It's getting darker and darker.

天越來越黑了。

He is getting more and more interested in sports.

他對體育越來越感興趣。

四、The more..., the more...：

The more you eat, the more you want.

你越吃越想要。

五、形容詞比較級前可受 much, far, a lot, still, no, a little, even, any 修飾，表示超出的程度：

We have a much better life now.

我們現在的日子好得多了。

The buildings look far uglier in London than here.

倫敦的建築比這兒的難看得多。

This story is even more interesting than that one.

這個故事比那個更有趣。

I made a lot more mistakes than you (did).

我犯的錯誤比你多多了。

Your cake is a little larger than mine.

你的蛋糕比我的大一點兒。

It's still colder today.

今天更冷一些。

-Have you any more? -Oh, sorry, no more.

-你還有嗎？-哦，對不起，沒有了。

She's no better yet.

她一點也沒好轉。

形容詞最高級的用法

一、用於表示三者或三者以上，通常含有 in, of 介詞短語和定語從句的句子：

Autumn is the best season in Beijing.

秋天是北京最好的季節。

She is the most intelligent girl in the whole school.

她是全校最有才華的女生。

John is the cleverest of all the boys.

約翰是所有男孩中最聰明的。

Kate is the tallest of the three.

凱特是那三個當中個子最高的。

This is the best film that I've ever seen.

這是我所看過的最好的電影。

二、在"Which..., ..., ...?"句中，表示三者或三者以上比較：

Which is the biggest, the sun, the moon or the earth?

太陽，月亮，地球，哪一個最大？

三、形容詞最高級表示“最……之一”時，可用“one of the + 最高級 + 複數名詞”：

Edison was one of the greatest inventors in the world.

愛迪生是世界上最爲大的發明家之一。

四、形容詞最高級的前面常有the, my等形容詞性物主代詞，或者China's這樣的名詞所有格：

This is my busiest day.

這是我最忙的一天。

The Changjiang River is China's longest river.

長江是中國最長的河流。

五、形容詞最高級可以被very修飾，表示強調：

I'll do my very best.

我一定要盡力而爲。

六、most有時和形容詞連用，前面用不定冠詞，表示“非常”：

It's a most useful book.

它是一本非常有用的書。
