“the+形容詞比較級+of the two+名詞”特指比較二者中的一方。比如：

She is the better of the two singers.

她是兩個歌手中唱得較好的一個。

I’ll take the less expensive of the two cameras.

兩架照相機中我買較便宜的哪一架。

This is the harder of the two exams.

這是兩場考試中比較難的一場。
