【用法示例】
比較級用於二者相比較，由than構成比較狀語從句：
(1) ①. He looks stronger than I(do).
②. The climate of Shanghai is hotter than that of Beijing.
③ . My Schoolbag is larger than hers.
④. The book is much more interesting than that one.

(2) ①. It is getting colder and colder.

最高級構成方式：
三者或三者以上進行比較，“the + 形容詞 / 副詞est”。

He runs fastest in our class.(副詞的最高級the可省略)

(2) He is cleverer than any other boy in the class.(有than時只用比較級)

2、otherwise 作副詞,意爲“用別的方法;不同地;在其他方面;除此之外”,相當於in another way或apart from .如：

高中英語Mrs, Ms 與 Miss 的區別1. Mrs 意爲“夫人”、“太太”，讀作['misiz]，是 mistress 的縮寫，但現在通常只用其縮寫形式。通常用於無其他頭銜的已婚婦女丈夫的姓或姓名前。如：
Mrs (George) Brown (喬治·)布朗夫人
注：有時也用於地方、運動或職業的名稱前。如：
Mrs America 美國太太(指美國已婚婦女的選美冠軍)

3. Miss 意爲“小姐”，用於未婚女性的姓名前(不可只用於名前)。如：
