能夠帶to不定式也能夠帶現在分詞的多功能詞彙（一）
我們現在來慢慢梳理：
1、有些動詞，後面接to不定式和-ing分詞的意義是不一樣的，這樣的詞如果出現在閱讀理解或者選擇題當中，容易成爲陷阱。最重要的還是在日常積累中認真識記其不同的意義。這類詞彙有try（嘗試）, mean（意味着、打算）, can’t help（情不自禁、、、）根據其本身意義判斷其後跟動詞是什麼形式。下面給大家簡單做一下參考。
try to do sth 努力做某事
try doing sth 試着做某事
mean to do 打算做某事
mean doing sth 意味着做某事
2、不管帶to不定式和-ing分詞意義基本沒有差別的動詞
attempt,begin, can’t bear, continue, deserve, dread, hate, intend, like, loathe, love, need, neglect, omit, plan, prefer, require, start等動詞後面既能用不定式也能直接帶-ing分詞，基本意義無甚區別，比如：
I hate to do so。& I hate doing so。這兩句表達的意思都是我討厭這樣做。
再如：He begins to do his housework。& He begins doing his housework。他開始做工作了。
3、在need, want, require, deserve等動詞後：-ing分詞的主動形式表示被動意義，相當於不定式的被動態。
These clothes need washing.=These clothes need to be washed. 這些衣服需要洗洗了。
4、在begin, continue, can’t bear, cease, dread, like, love, neglect, omit, prefer, propose, start等動詞後：-ing分詞表示一般行爲；不定式表示特定的或具體的動作
He dreaded of living alone in the countryside. 他難以忍受在鄉下獨居。
I can’t bear to live without my parents. 我受不了離開父母生活。
I don’t like washing clothes during morning times. 我不愛在早上時間洗衣服。
It is hot today, and I like to swim. 今天天氣熱，我想游泳去。
He dreaded of living alone in the countryside. 他難以忍受在鄉下獨居。I can’t bear to live without my parents. 我受不了離開父母生活。
I don’t like washing clothes during morning times. 我不愛在早上時間洗衣服。
