hair與hairs的用法區別

此題應選 C，容易誤選 A，誤認爲hair永遠不可數。其實hair這個詞既可以是可數名詞，也可以是不可數名詞，只是含義稍有變化：

　　1. 作爲不可數名詞“頭髮”的總稱，是集合名詞：

I’ll have my hair cut. 我要去理髮。

He has blond hair. 他有一頭金髮。

She has a beautiful head of hair. 她有一頭漂亮的頭髮。

The woman likes to do her hair in foreign style. 這個女人喜歡把頭髮梳成外國式。

試比較以下句子：

He has grey hair. 他滿頭白髮。

He has grey hairs. 他有些白髮了。

　　2. 作爲可數名詞，是指一根一根的“頭髮”或“毛髮”：

Look at this, a hair in my soup. 你瞧，我的湯裏有根頭髮。

The cat has left her loose hairs all over my clothes. 貓掉的毛弄得我衣服上到處都是。

My father has quite a few gray hairs. 我父親已有不少白髮。

There is not a gray hair on his head. 他頭上沒有一根白頭髮。
