微博朋友圈可作刑案證據 該規定將於10月1日起施行
Information posted by users on social media can be used as evidence if the contents are involved in related criminal cases, according to a regulation issued by China's law enforcement authorities.
根據我國執法機關近日發佈的一項規定，若用戶在社交媒體上發佈的信息涉嫌與刑事案件有關，則該內容可作爲證據。The rule, co-formulated by the Supreme People's Court, Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Ministry of Public Security, is aimed at regulating the collection and review of digital data in criminal cases and will come into force on Oct 1.
這項規定由最高人民法院、最高人民檢察院、公安部三部門聯合制定，旨在規範刑事案件中電子數據的收集和審查。該規定將於10月1日開始施行。Law enforcement authorities have the right to collect and retrieve digital data during investigations, the rule says.
規定稱，在調查期間，執法機關有權收集、調取電子數據。
The data includes information posted on Weibo, WeChat, cloud storage platforms and other online platforms, as well as e-mails and cell phone messages.
