調查顯示 北京仍是畢業生求職首選地
Despite the choking smog, Beijing is still the number one choice for graduate job seekers based on its "soft environment", according to a report published last Tuesday.
根據上週二發佈的一項報告顯示，儘管霧霾嚴重，但是北京仍憑藉其“軟環境”成爲畢業生找工作的首選之地。Researchers at the Center for China and Globalization and education consultancy MyCOS analyzed responses from 20,000 graduates.
中國與全球化智庫及教育諮詢機構麥可斯的研究人員分析了來自2萬名畢業生的調查報告。They found that the Chinese capital was the preferred choice for finding work based on social environment, economic development, infrastructure, consumption habits and internationalized atmosphere. Shenzhen, Shanghai and Guangzhou were their next choices.
他們發現，中國首都北京因社會環境、經濟發展、基礎設施、消費習慣及國際氛圍優越，仍是求職者的不二之選。而深圳、上海及廣州則位列北京之後。
Graduates on average were likely to turn down a job in a smaller city that paid up to 1,120 yuan more a month to stay in Beijing, the report said.
報告稱，通常畢業生會選擇留在北京而放棄小城市的工作，儘管這需要承受每月超過1120元的固定成本。For Shenzhen and Shanghai, the offer to relocate would have to exceed 1,000 yuan a month, or to move to Guangzhou it would have to be 441 yuan better a month.
而對於深圳和上海來說，重新定居的成本每月將會超過1000元，選擇到廣州工作的話，其成本可能是每月441元。The report included only cities with a population of at least 1 million.
此項報告僅調查了人口超過100萬的城市。Wang Boqing, founder of MyCOS and an expert in college graduate employment, said although metropolises are still top choices for graduates to work in, the past three years have seen more university and college students work in prefecture-level cities, or even smaller cities, suggesting more are choosing to avoid the pressure of big cities.
