美國前外交官癡迷武俠 辦網站向西方推廣武俠小說
A former American diplomat ditched his high-flying post in pursuit of his passion - to spread the word on the Chinese martial arts fantasy genre in English.
一位前美國外交官放棄了前途無量的職位，追求自己所熱衷的事：用英語傳播中國武俠玄幻作品。Lai Jingping, who is now an entrepreneur of a website called Wuxia World, wants to feed the hungry horde of readers with translated Chinese online wuxia fiction.
賴靜平現在是“武俠世界”網站的創辦者，他想爲如飢似渴的讀者們提供中文網絡武俠小說的翻譯。The website, founded in 2014, is the largest platform for English versions of Chinese martial arts stories and fantasy online novels translated by Wuxia enthusiasts.
“武俠世界”創建於2014年，是中文武俠小說英譯版和武俠小說愛好者翻譯的玄幻小說的最大平臺。
Wuxia World is now one of the top 2,000 websites in the US, according to the web traffic rankings produced by Alexa, receiving some 4m page views per day.
“武俠世界”現已成爲Alexa網站流量排名全美前2000的網站，每天的訪問量約爲400萬。China Reading, a leading authorized digital reading platform has already reached an agreement with Wuxia World to gain copyright authorization for some of the novel translations.
正版數字閱讀平臺閱文集團已經與該網站達成協議，獲得部分小說譯文的版權授權。As of June 2016, the number of readers has already exceed 308 million, according to data released at a forum hosted by the China Writers Association.
根據中國作家協會舉辦的一屆論壇上發佈的數據顯示，截止2016年6月，武俠小說讀者的數量已經超過了3.08億。
